TRAINING COURSES
We provide the following training courses:
NOVICE COURSES
For one person this will take 3 days
For two people this will take 4 days
For three people this will take 5 days
Novice courses have a small classroom element which cover Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation 1998 and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998.
The trainee leaves the classroom with a heightened sense of the importance of operating a forklift truck safely. From this point the trainee will learn all about pre-use checks and the skills required to operate safely.
At the end of the course they will complete a 25 question theory paper and a practical skills test.
Please note we cannot train more than three people each day.
REFRESHER COURSES
Refresher courses also have a small classroom element which will recap and enhance their knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation 1998 and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998.
Following the classroom element the trainee will be assessed on their driving ability and any bad habits that may have been picked up can then be corrected and worked on until they are in a position to take a basic test of their skills.
At the end of the day they will complete a 25 question theory paper and a practical skills test.
All refresher courses take one day for between one and three people.

All training can be arranged any time to suit you or your companies operations and shift patterns.
COST
Our forklift truck training is charged by the day, not the person.
The daily training rate is £250 per day regardless of course. All prices are subjected to VAT.
Instruction for all courses is by fully qualified RTITB accredited examiners. This can be held on-site and undertaken within your existing shift patterns.
East Anglian Forklifts is part of the Fork Lift Truck Association and B.I.T.A.
Through these organisations, we carry out thorough and accredited examinations of drivers.
We are an accredited centre that is fully equipped for training, whether it be a novice or refresher course.
